SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary role is to develop specialized behavioral interventions using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) in order to address challenging behavior; as well as support the acquisition and maintenance of adaptive life skills - ultimately increasing individuals’ self-sufficiency.
* Provide 1:1 services to Individuals
* Complete a Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBA) and develop an individualized Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) within 30 days.
* Assist individuals with developing adaptive behaviors that replace or modify challenging behaviors that are disruptive or destructive.
* Develop and promote consistent implementation of Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) and Crisis Intervention Plan (CIP).
* Provide coaching and assistance to Direct Support Professionals to implement interventions stated in the BSP.
* Complete necessary training based on the Individuals needs.
* Maintain and update the FBA, BSP, AND CIP as needed.
* Submit accurate and complete weekly online progress notes.
