About the Role:

Innovative and forward-thinking accounting services firm, recognized for its vibrant culture, is currently seeking a seasoned Bookkeeper located in LATAM to join their high-energy team. We are searching for an individual highly proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel, capable of effectively overseeing financial records and guaranteeing the smooth functioning of our clients' financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of both internal and client's bookkeeping and accounting processes, including A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Expertly utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) to manage diverse financial tasks and generate comprehensive financial reports.
• Leverage Excel to analyze data, generate detailed reports, and create robust financial models.
• Conduct regular audits and coordinate tax preparation activities, ensuring compliance with state, federal regulations, and with our CPA or tax team.
• Assist in the meticulous preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain day-to-day financial operations and ensure adherence to standard accounting practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant in the technology industry.
• Preference given to candidates with crypto, blockchain or SaaS experience.
• Expert proficiency in QBO and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
