We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to lead the collection, capture, and management of mission-user needs from prioritization through concept development and deployment. This role will serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring user perspectives are prioritized while driving system usability and engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and strategic consultation on complex projects.
Lead user needs collection and documentation, facilitating prioritization, concept development, and user story creation to support deployment.
Gather and refine business-focused requirements, working closely with the product team and product owner to define backlog priorities.
Ensure user experience (UX) optimization, driving adoption and engagement strategies within system development.
Analyze core business needs, translating them into operational documents, including concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories.
Develop and maintain business rules documentation and construct workflow diagrams to enhance process transparency.
Provide consultation on complex projects, evaluating business implications for technology implementation and future scalability.
Comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents to support business strategy and technical alignment.
Solve problems involving multiple options, leveraging analytical and quantitative skills to drive informed decision-making.
Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Proficiency in process mapping, user story development, and backlog refinement.
Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to identify and solve complex business problems.
3-5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or product management.
Experience working in government or defense-related business environments.
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
