Certified Surgical Technician
Location: Gainesville, FL 32614
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay Range: $22.66 – $32.86 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Shift Differentials:
Night: +$3.25/hour
Weekend: +$2.00/hour
Evening (8 or 10-hour shifts): +$2.00/hour
On-call: $4.00/hour
Call-back: Paid at time and a half
Available Shifts:
Days: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts) or 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Evenings: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (12-hour shifts) or 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
On-Call Requirement: Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call
We are hiring a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to support a multidisciplinary surgical team in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. You will play a critical role in maintaining sterile environments, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
Perform scrub duties for surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique
Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
Collaborate with registered nurses and surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support pre-, intra-, and post-operative care through effective teamwork and communication
Maintain a safe and clean surgical environment in compliance with hospital standards
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CST experience preferred; acute care experience is a plus
Licensure: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
Education: Graduate of an accredited vocational school
Certifications: BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
