Position: Community Security Officer
Location: Glen Lakes Homeowners Association
Job Description:
Glen Lakes is a premier gated community consisting of 286 single-family homes. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to help maintain the safety and well-being of our residents and the overall community.
As a Community Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents within the communities you are assigned to. Your primary duties will include patrolling the area, responding to security incidents, enforcing community rules and regulations, and providing a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol community to identify and report any suspicious activity
- Respond to security calls and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to proactively detect potential threats
- Enforce community rules and regulations by issuing parking warnings and citations when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and daily activities
- Provide assistance to residents in need, such as responding to medical emergencies or providing directions
- Ensure only authorized individuals, including residents, guests, and approved vendors, are granted access to the property
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior security experience preferred
- Level II Non-Commissioned Security License
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of security systems and protocols
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
