Job Description

This dynamic finance firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to play a pivotal role in upholding their commitment to regulatory excellence and ethical standards. This is a collaborative role with cross-functional teams to navigate the complex landscape of compliance, contributing to the firm’s sustained success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of compliance procedures, ensuring alignment with current laws and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with departments to maintain cohesive compliance strategies.
  • Manage daily operations of the compliance program, including policy updates and staff training initiatives.
  • Facilitate the approval process for financing transactions, coordinating with investment and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Oversee the maintenance of corporate records, ensuring adherence to document retention policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle the creation and compliance management of business initiatives, including necessary state filings and licensing.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with registered agents and regulatory bodies, managing routine filings and responding to examination requests.
  • Provide administrative support, including document preparation, signature collection, and information dissemination.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced. You have a degree in hand with over five years of compliance or paralegal experience within a law firm or corporate legal department.
