Job Description

The Marketing Technology Manager is a key individual contributor role that helps develop, implement, manage, and support marketing campaigns through technology platforms. The goal of this role will be to ensure the company is fully utilizing established platforms to deliver the best results by leading their deployment in the business. The role will also be accountable for managing vendor relationships which includes contract adherence and implementation. Ensuring vendor support to deliver KPI's, metrics and results. Including representing and working towards being the platforms subject matter expert. (SME).


The ideal candidate for this role will be comfortable working individually or with a team using technology and processes to support strategic initiatives and process improvement. The candidate will be accountable for platforms use in appropriate parts of the business.


Position Responsibilities:


May include.
• Provide support to internal and external end users.
• Learn current and new systems to administrate and train users.
• Manage platform vendor relationships and be Single Point of Contact. (SPOC)
• Align recommendations for potential digital platforms with company strategies.
• Identify opportunities to use technology to deliver content and insights through business.
• Demonstrate willingness to keep up with current trends and developments in digital marketing.
• Self-motivated to come up with new projects and sell these projects to executive team.
• Work with members of cross functional departments and help cohesion to support project deadline goals.
• Coordinate information needed to ensure timely delivery of assigned projects for the marketing department.
• Escalate issues and concerns regarding assigned projects to department head.
• Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.

• Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
• Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals
• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective on existing solutions


Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong working knowledge with digital platforms including, but not limited to CMS, Ecommerce, Marketing Automations, CRM, and PIM
• Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices
• Established knowledge of digital marketing strategies and execution best practices
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and have strong organizational and time management skills
• Capable of communicating with people in different levels of organizations (internal/external)
• Ability to inspire confidence and trust while holding team accountable to results; either individually and/or group
• Ability to apply good judgement, decision making skills and strong work ethics and integrity on the job


Experience:
• 5+ Years proven working experience preferably in digital marketing


Education/Certification: BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Management or related Digital degree and credentials
