### What You'll Do
As the Manager of Business & Finance, you'll:
- Provide leadership and oversight of financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, procurement, and business analytics.
- Work closely with administration, clinical operations, and medical staff to optimize financial performance and improve processes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to governmental regulations and financial policies.
- Act as a liaison between operating units and centralized accounting functions.
- Supervise and support a team of financial professionals, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic financial management.
### What We're Looking For
#### Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 5 years in finance or accounting, including 1 year in a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and report-writing software.
- Strong background in data analysis, financial reporting, payroll, contracts, and compliance.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
#### Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 7+ years of finance or accounting experience, including 3+ years in management.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an academic medical center or physician practice.
- Background in project management and electronic health records (EHR).
- Education & Certifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Health Administration.
- CPA, CMA, CHFP, or FHFMA certification.

### Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional early/late hours based on leadership needs.
- Work Location: Hybrid (onsite & remote), must be local to Virginia.
- Travel: Occasional day or overnight travel may be required.
