Job Description

Clark Retirement is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hair Stylist to provide professional hair care services to residents at our senior living community. This position has a flexible schedule, ideal for a stylist who enjoys building meaningful connections and making a difference in the lives of seniors. The stylist will work as an independent contractor (1099) and must be self-motivated, dependable, and respectful of the unique needs of older adults.

Responsibilities:

• Provide haircuts, styling, shampooing, and other basic hair care services

• Maintain a clean and organized salon space

• Build rapport with residents and ensure a positive, comfortable experience

• Manage scheduling and payment collection as an independent contractor

• Comply with health, safety, and infection control standards

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology license

• Experience working with older adults preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

• Professional liability insurance required
