Clark Retirement is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hair Stylist to provide professional hair care services to residents at our senior living community. This position has a flexible schedule, ideal for a stylist who enjoys building meaningful connections and making a difference in the lives of seniors. The stylist will work as an independent contractor (1099) and must be self-motivated, dependable, and respectful of the unique needs of older adults.
Responsibilities:
Provide haircuts, styling, shampooing, and other basic hair care services
Maintain a clean and organized salon space
Build rapport with residents and ensure a positive, comfortable experience
Manage scheduling and payment collection as an independent contractor
Comply with health, safety, and infection control standards
Qualifications:
Valid cosmetology license
Experience working with older adults preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
Professional liability insurance required
