We are seeking a **Horizontal Directional Drill Locator** to join our team in **Denver, CO** . In this role you will operate drilling equipment to complete assigned projects and complete drilling in both standard and high-risk areas; with live utilities. **Why TAK?** + Full Time + Paid Weekly + **Compensation: $30-$40 hourly, DOE** + Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision) + Paid Time Off + 401(k) with Company Match! + 25K Company Paid Life Insurance + Independent Work & Team Collaboration + Career Development & Advancement Opportunities! **The Role** + Operates drilling equipment to complete assigned projects + Completes drilling in both standard and high-risk areas; with live utilities + Maintains a working knowledge of utility depths and placements + Ensures vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner + Reviews field designs, communicating discrepancies to supervisor for change orders + Properly documents all work completed to include pothole and bore logs + Performs conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed + Completes general restoration and cleanup + Completes all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders + Other duties as assigned Requirements + 3+ years of directional drilling experience required + Ability to travel up to 90% regionally + Ability to travel daily, ability to work outside of business hours when needed, overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends etc., in all seasons + Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills + High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail + Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption + Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud + Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs as needed + Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing in all weather conditions year round + Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools + Valid driver's license; Class A CDL required + Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) _The_ _compensation_ _and_ _benefits_ _information_ _is_ _accurate_ _as_ _of_ _the_ _date_ _of_ _this posting.
