THE POSITION

The Integrated Learning Facilitator provides targeted academic intervention for students identified with characteristics of dyslexia and students performing at Level 1 in reading, math, and science. This position is responsible for delivering small group instruction aligned to Arkansas Academic Standards and supporting students in mastering foundational skills necessary for academic success.

This role is designed for an educator with expertise in multisensory instructional strategies, a solid understanding of dyslexia interventions, and a commitment to accelerating achievement in math and science for struggling learners.

The Integrated Learning Facilitator is a critical thinker and innovative problem solver with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, small-group instruction using research-based strategies tailored to students with characteristics of dyslexia and those performing at Level 1 in reading, math, and science
• Implement multisensory methods to build literacy skills, number sense, and foundational scientific understanding
• Align all instruction to Arkansas Academic Standards, emphasizing readiness for the ATLAS assessment
• Monitor instruction daily in assigned reading, math, and science classes to ensure alignment and effectiveness
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and the Student Services Team to reinforce Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention plans
• Provide ongoing training in the Science of Reading and ensure accurate implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM)
• Guide teachers in the administration and analysis of early literacy and diagnostic assessments
• Analyze academic data and assist teachers in using data to develop lessons that target specific learning gaps
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, instructional plans, and attendance for compliance and reporting
• Participate in all required professional development, planning sessions, and data team meetings
• Support the development and review of IEPs, 504 Plans, and Dyslexia Intervention Plans, as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support.

Required:

• § Valid Arkansas teaching license or eligibility for reciprocity
• § Completion of an approved dyslexia training program (e.g., R.I.S.E. Academy, LETRS, or similar)
• § Experience working with students performing below grade level in math, science, or reading
• § Familiarity with Arkansas Academic Standards and the ATLAS assessment system
• § Strong classroom management and group facilitation skills
• § Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

• § Certification or endorsement in Special Education o
• § Experience with progress monitoring tools and student data systems 
• § Experience in urban or high-needs school settings
