Main Duties:

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
Coordinate IT support services, incident resolution and ensure timely responses
Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring and support
Collaborate with external vendors, negotiating contracts, and manage vendor relationships for procurement of hardware
Develop and implement strategies to improve IT operations efficiency
Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems, conduct regular audits, and stay updated on threats and solutions
Manage the assigned IT budget and allocate resources effectively, monitoring expenditure to ensure cost effectiveness
Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure data protection
Ensure that IT operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices
Foster effective communication and collaboration between IT and other departments and align IT strategies accordingly
Any other duties related to the job position that may be required

What skills do you need?

Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, information technology or related field
Proficiency in IT infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud technologies
Good understanding of compliance, regulations, and best practices in IT
Relevant certifications in ITIL, PMP would be considered an asset
Industry standard certifications (CompTIA network +, Security + or similar)
Preferred minimum 2 years proven work experience in a similar role.
Extensive experience within an IT department working as a support agent or technician along with some management experience
Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
Strong decision making, leadership & problem solving skills
Is able to adapt, take initiative with a constant customer Focus
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members/management/stakeholders

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
