FP&A Manager
Christian Wyatt Group is partnering with a Tennessee-based bank on a newly created Finance Leader role within their organization. Our firm specializes in the Community & Super Community Bank vertical across the United States and we are an industry leader in accounting, finance, treasury, audit, and risk roles within that vertical at the EVP, SVP, and VP levels.
Our client has been on a remarkable growth trajectory over the past five plus years despite industry headwinds, regulations, and COVID. It’s quite a remarkable story. We are partnering directly with their CFO to successfully fill this key position.
Although strategic in their own right with Corporate Finance, overall FP&A and strategy, it’s time for the CFO to bolt on a wing person who can be attached at their hip to do traditional budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, planning, profitability, modeling, dashboarding, and overall analytics. Due to their asset size, they don’t yet have a dedicated budgeting software, so for now Excel, Power BI, and an external vendors platform will be in play, however, your input relative to future software platforms is welcomed and encouraged.
There are paradigms in place for you to plug into and enhance (it’s not broken, just underdeveloped based on their current and future trajectory), but there is also plenty of white space to work with as well. They want a collaborator and leader, but with a large dose of humility…meaning: They know they need to improve, but they are a culture forward team focused group, that needs someone to assimilate, embed themselves into the culture, build bridges, then implement change over time.
They boast above average benefits especially relative to peers, competitive salary band, discretionary bonus and equity. The ideal candidate would be someone that is an FP&A Manager in the Community Banking vertical or perhaps a Sr. Financial Analyst at a Regional Bank that is willing to considering going downstream in asset size and broadening out in job function, job duty, with a larger seat at the table. Although your hands will be dirty, you’ll be strategic, have a voice, and be hitching your wagon to a bank with a very bright future.
Email or respond in strict confidence. Current banking expertise is a must as the need for a ‘plug and play’ banking professional will be key in helping the CFO get and stay out of the weeds. We look forward to hearing from you.
