JOB SUMMARY
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you may be tasked with: part and assembly 3D modeling of components, sub-assemblies, and final products; developing detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, and tools; managing engineering and process changes via change control procedures; preparing technical reports and/or related documentation; analyzing and evaluating results to choose the best solutions as they relate to product development, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 3D CAD modeling experience with NX experience required
• A minimum of two years of mechanical design experience required
• Experience with drafting and product engineering experience preferred
• Previous experience with prototype mockup a plus
