Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience as a Windows Network Administrator or in a comparable role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and networking protocols.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Understanding of security best practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, CCNP, CCNA).
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation purposes.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar Microsoft ERP applications is a plus.

• As a Windows Network Administrator in our IT team, I will manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DNS, and DHCP, while ensuring system availability, security, and high performance. I’ll monitor network performance with cloud-based tools, resolve issues, and optimize reliability. My daily tasks involve configuring and managing network hardware, including modern enterprise firewalls and layer 3 switches, implementing secure site-to-site VPNs, and preparing for a future migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. I will also implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data, conduct regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and oversee our Ubiquiti wireless network infrastructure. Additionally, I will manage our help desk ticketing system, address user support queries, document network configurations, and maintain our IT asset database. I will ensure that we stay compliant with all software licensing and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.

This is a full-time position based in Houston, TX; however, I will require travel to other locations in Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix occasionally. The schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, with some Saturdays from 8 AM to 3 PM. The salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 per year and includes benefits such as health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick days, and vacation days.
