Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Job Description



This ERP Operations Business Analyst will be dedicated to the success of the M3 ERP by assisting the Thrive Team and Decatur location in preparing for the implementation; and working with the Decatur team to ensure continued compliance with the system after implementation. This position will report to the Decatur Plant Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Implementation Activities

  • Work with Project Thrive Team and Location Power Users to review operations processes.
  • Support Process Leads in Power User Training
  • Support Power Users in End User Training
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Training
  • Conduct business process gathering sessions with plant personnel, map existing processes and align those processes to the M3 implementation.

Cutover Activities

  • Assist in leading cutover activities.
  • Coordinate teams for inventory cutover.
  • Manage resources for M3 data load.
  • Assist Plant Manager in developing startup plans

Post-Implementation Activities

  • Work with plant personnel to ensure proper and timely receipt of oil, packaging, ingredients and MRO materials.
  • Work with plant personnel to ensure that proper and timely inventory procedures are followed.
  • Work with plant personnel to ensure that Operations are report against MOs timely and correctly.
  • Monitor the M3 system to ensure Manufacturing Orders and inventories are in order.
  • Conduct frequent cycle counts to validate inventory accuracy.
  • Reconcile inventories and manufacturing orders each day.

Recommend process improvements.

  • Serve as level one support for hardware (document printers, print and apply printers and scanners); operations and warehouse processes; and M3 and Factory Track systems.

  • Able to set goals and achieve them with regards to location ERP system compliance.

Qualifications



Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required with desired experience. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in operations, technical, business or engineering; or relevant experience.

Related Experience: Three to Five Years Experience with ERP administration and/or Operations Accounting and/or Operations Management in food packaging is preferred. Experience in gathering and mapping business processes.

Equipment/Software Skills: Must have good PC skills and demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office, and Outlook. MS Visio preferred. Experience with M3 ERP; plant automation; warehouse management systems; and related hardware (scanners and printers) is preferred.

Additional Information



Physical: This position has limited physical activity requirements – primarily sitting and walking to the copy room and throughout the building to interact with other departments. Lifting would only require filing documents and possibly boxing items to send to storage.

Sensory:  This position requires the use primarily of visual, hearing and speaking senses. Visual activities include the ability to read computer generated reports and customer documentation, and to utilize a computer system. Hearing and speaking is required to work with other department colleagues as well as with parent company colleagues to research issues and learn job functions. Touching is only required to be able to handle reports and complete necessary filing activities.

Mental/Reasoning : This position requires a great deal of learning, reasoning, and analyzing. Mental reasoning is required to analyze customer invoice and cash activity and determine the proper method for applying cash and making necessary adjustments to customer accounts.

Salary Range: $69,899 - $87,373 Annual
