Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repair work including but not limited to dismantling and reassembly of Driveshafts.
• Repair and modification of Driveshafts including but not limited to machining and balancing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.

Qualifications:

• Ability to accurately use measuring tools (Vernier caliper, dial indicator & tape measure).
• Mechanical background is considered an asset.
• Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations including fractions.
• Previous manual lathe and/or shop experience is considered an asset.
• Capacity to read & understand work orders, ask procedures, and follow technical instructions.
• The ability to MIG weld is considered an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident and positive demeanor.
