About the Role:BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN or RN for a rewarding pediatric private duty home health opportunity. You will provide one-on-one care to a 3-year-old child with Down syndrome, requiring G-tube support, medication administration, and assistance with ADLs. Our little girl has been experiencing some behavior challenges and we're looking for a kind, compassionate nurse with patient, who is willing to be hands-on and engaging with her. Schedule:Alternating weekly: * Week A: 3 days/week (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) * Week B: 2 days/week (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) * Additional Opportunity to help with evening/weekend respite hours available (i.e. occassional date nights for parents) Pay and Benefits: * Hourly Pay: $30.00 to $45.00 (based on licensure (LPN or RN) and experience) * Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (available immediately at 20+ hours/week) * Weekly pay via direct deposit * Wages on Demand (access up to $200/day from your earnings) * Flexible scheduling options * Employee Recognition, Appreciation and Reward Platform * Referral bonus program * Mileage reimbursement (case-based) * Free training & CEUs * Supportive Director of Nursing oversight * Growth opportunities - we promote from within * BrightStar Care is a Champion for Quality - 8 Years Running Responsibilities: * Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care as per Plan of Care * Administer medications and G-tube feedings * Monitor and document changes in client condition * Communicate with family and clinical supervisors * Support daily ADLs and engage meaningfully with the child while at school and home Requirements: * Active LPN or RN license (NC or Multi-State Compact) * BLS Certification (Required) * 1+ year of nursing experience (home health preferred) * Experience with: * G-tube care (Required) * Medication administration (Required) * Pediatric experience with special needs (Preferred but Not Required) * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform full range of motion required in caregiving Preferred Experience: * Home Care or Home Health: 1 year * Pediatric Care: 1 year Application Questions: * Do you live in or near Charlotte, NC? * Are you comfortable working with children who have behavioral challenges?
