The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. Patient populations consist of adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements and evaluates effectiveness of therapy with communication to physician and health care team.
