Job ID#211081** Pay Rate: $44 - $49/hr **Job Description:** Seeking a Procurement Agent, Government (BGS-G) supporting various fighter, rotorcraft, airlift and fixed-wing platform spares requirements. Supports sourcing strategies, price and contract negotiation and documenting of purchase contracts and agreements. Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and overall performance. Mitigates risks and issues. Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies. Required Qualifications: - Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes - Bachelor's degree or higher required Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project - Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals - Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired - Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices - Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role - Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education, Bachelor and 4 years' related work experience.
