Position Description:

As a Product Enablement Specialist within the Product Enablement team at PAR OPS, you will play a crucial role in providing regular communication to current clients on new features and current features to help them run their business. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise content. You will be responsible for developing and managing deployment plans for new functionality, working with the marketing department to provide monthly features to be communicated to prospective clients, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to provide support and enablement.

You will need to understand the context of the current environments of our clients (e.g., how they work today) and how existing and new features of PAR OPS can positively impact their workflow in the future. You will ensure new features meet the high standards included in the PAR OPS products and/or services to retain current users and build loyal fans. You will also be responsible for testing new features and functionality with every new release, ensuring the released functionality meets the use case requirements.

The ideal applicant will have a restaurant management background and an extensive working knowledge of PAR OPS. They will also understand relevant computer applications within the restaurant and hospitality industry. A successful candidate will have excellent communication, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

What We’re Looking For:

· 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred

· Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the technology industry

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing PAR OPS

· Previous experience in the Hospitality industry in a management role

· Marketing or sales background

· Track record of success in Professional Services

· A relentless problem solver who enjoys uncovering solutions

· A passion for continued education (growing both technical and interpersonal skills)

· Ability to self-train, to stay current with the technology and security in restaurant and retail industries

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and identify priorities

· Comfortability in a dynamic, agile atmosphere of a technical organization with an expanding customer base

Additional skills:

· Restaurant management background and extensive knowledge of PAR OPS.

· Knowledge of relevant computer applications within the restaurant and hospitality industry.

· Excellent communication, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to understand business cases and validate enhancements meet objectives.

· Proficiency in configuring the PAR OPS product and databases according to specifications.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical, non-technical, and diverse customers across an international organization.

· Excellent training and presentation skills.

· Ability to quickly establish trust-based relationships.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

· Provide regular communication to current customers highlighting product enhancements.

· Partner with Operations, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on product features, communication, rollout, and support needs.

· Manage projects for new feature rollout from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.

· Establish and enforce communication standards, style guides, and best practices to continuously improve existing communication in alignment with company standards.

· Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to incorporate relevant information into communications.

· Work in a multi-channel communication environment of phone, emails, and video conferencing

Compensation

$65K – $70K

_ The base salary range for this position is commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable. _
