As a Small Business Underwriter, you'll have the opportunity to manage and grow a profitable book of business, specializing in commercial trucking. You'll play a key role in underwriting, managing risk, and fostering strong relationships with agents and insureds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make a direct impact on the success and profitability of the business.
- Underwrite policies, determine pricing, and rate endorsements.
- Manage your own book of business in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Build lasting, trusted relationships with agents and insureds, becoming a go-to partner for their needs.
- Participate in an engaging training program that combines one-on-one mentoring, classroom learning, and self-study to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sales, relationship-building, or the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze and assess risk.
- Ability to identify customer needs and market relevant products and services effectively.
- A passion for learning and professional growth in the insurance field.
