Job Description
Job Summary (Solution Architect - Investment Technology & Data):
- Lead and manage implementation or product management for front office investment technology platforms (e.g., Blackrock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, Bloomberg AIM, Markit ThinkFolio, FIS Front Arena), with at least 8 years of experience.
- Utilize strong proficiency in SQL, database management, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS).
- Apply expertise in data modeling, governance, and data quality management within investment technology environments.
- Demonstrate understanding of portfolio management and trading processes for asset managers/owners across equity, fixed income, and listed derivatives.
- Specialize in at least two investment operations areas (e.g., Risk & Performance, Compliance, Client Reporting, Derivatives Management, Operations & Settlements, Vehicle Setup & Structuring, Data Management) with 5+ years experience in each.
- Lead and mentor small to medium-sized teams in implementation or consulting projects.
- Willing to travel as required by project/client needs.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and solution delivery capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, showcasing excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset and commercial awareness in project delivery.
- Possess or pursue relevant industry certifications (CFA, CAIA, FINRA Series 7, etc.).
- Adapt to and appreciate regional business cultures and practices.
