**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
As the Technical Services Manager, you will be the tactical arm of Technical Services when it comes to all things safety. Job duties include:
+ Create, implement, and maintain all Food Safety and Safety policies, procedures, and documents to always ensure audit readiness, drive continuous improvement efforts, and support management teams in meeting goals and objectives surrounding Food Safety and Safety.
+ Support facility and local team by playing an active role in third-party audits and assessments by regulatory agencies and provide technical assistance/support in the handling of escalating issues surrounding Food Safety and Safety.
+ Uphold service standards by conducting routine facility visits and performing internal assessments to verify adherence to policies and procedures.
+ Verify compliance to all internal, customer, third-party auditing, and regulatory requirements including EEOC, OSHA, FDA, Homeland Security, EPA, and USDA.
+ Review technical problems and procedures of departments and recommend solutions to problems or changes in procedures and actively participate in the development and execution of action plans within each facility.
+ Raise the profile of food safety and safety by conducting on-going training at each facility to ensure each are embedded in the culture.
+ Plan and coordinate Food Safety and Safety efforts in support of company's growth by conducting initial Hazard Assessments and Food Safety Assessments while playing an active role in the start-up process of new business.
+ Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally while tailoring communication style and content to the audience.
+ Special Projects and other duties as assigned
**YOUR MUST HAVES:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older and active Driver's License.
+ Strong computer skills include Microsoft Office products.
+ Knowledge of food safety and safety regulations.
**WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:**
+ 5+ years in the sanitation/food processing industry.
+ Ability to work well within a team, including adherence to core values and dynamic corporate culture.
+ Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
+ Be adaptable to various assignments and non-routine tasks.
**OUR ENVIRONMENT:**
This position is based in your home office, when not travelling to the corporate headquarters, customer, or plant locations which may require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hardhat, ear protection, and/or other protective equipment/clothing. Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment. Sitting for extended periods of time when travelling (mostly driving) is also required.
