The Opportunity:

As our Head of Performance Marketing, you will join an incredible team working on the #1-rated sports betting tool, and a top affiliate in the iGaming space.

Through our growth so far, we have been able to scale massively through organic reach and word of mouth—we're looking to double down on this by investing in paid acquisition.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with experience managing a wide variety of channels (eg. PPC, Meta, TikTok, X / Twitter Ads & more), who can come in and build a paid acquisition strategy that can scale throughout 2025. You will be responsible for building & testing a strategy as a proof of concept to start, and then following this up by helping to develop & scale the team around you. You will have the ability to influence our go-forward strategy, while also receiving coaching from seasoned professionals with years of experience.

This role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-moving startup, that overlaps heavily in the sports & sports management side of business. Our goal at Betstamp is to give successful candidates will be given real responsibility from Day 1, and the opportunity to develop & move up into leadership roles as we continue to grow our team.

This is a full-time position located in the downtown Toronto area.

What makes a great Head of Performance Marketing?

  • Experience in Paid Acquisition is a Non-Negotiable - material spending experience across a minimum of 2 different channels is required to be considered for this role (one of them needs to be Meta).
  • Experience in iGaming, Sports Betting & Casino Acquisition is a major plus
  • Detail-oriented & data-driven - able to glean insights & drive towards action
  • Experience working towards & exceeding targets
  • Externally minded - the ability to take & find learnings from other industries and apply them to a new vertical
  • Ability to take ownership of your business & projects to make decisions & move projects and opportunities forward

Responsibilities

  • External: Test & learn with our specific offerings to determine which platform(s) to double down & invest against
  • External: Iterate copy & messaging on the go to determine ways to position uniquely our brand to the consumer
  • External: Optimise customer acquisition campaigns to maximise ROI, continuously improving key performance metrics such as CPA, CPL, CTR, conversion rates, and lifetime value.
  • Internal: Build & communicate your plan to company leadership, sharing progress along the way and helping shape a strategy that aligns with the overall company direction

Compensation & Start Date

  • Competitive compensation with possibility for bonus incentives based on success

The Basics

  • 2-5 years of experience in paid acquisition roles
  • Highly proficient with Google PPC, Meta, Twitter/X, Snapchat & TikTok ads platforms
  • Excellent communication skills through email / chats
  • Ability to create a vision & execute
